A recreation center is a building that is open to the public where meetings can be held, sports are played, and there are events/activities for young people.

Step 1: Go to the website provided above. Click on the Membership tab.
Step 2: After you click on the membership tab it should bring you to a page with different types of memberships they offer. Scroll down to Discounts & Financial Assistance section (depending on what you are looking for you could qualify for other discounts). Click “Financial Assistance”
Step 3: Under Financial Assistance tab, click PLAY Program Application. PLAY is a needs-based financial assistance program for Denver residents.
Step 4: Follow directions on the PDF application. There is also a Spanish version of the application. If you are unable to complete application online, you can go to the nearest Denver Rec Center and pick up an application. If you fill out an online version you can email the application to PLAY@denvergov.org.
